Testing, TESOL and now...
CONFERENCE TIME!!!
I hope you've had the chance to look over the three mini-conferences
for the tristate region. We are excited about the chance to showcase local talent and to recruit more as we reach out to our
membership.
I've been hearing a lot of feedback from those who teach adults. We hear you! And we're working
to meet your needs, but we need your help.
Take a few moments and think about what you do well. One lesson, one way
of keeping records, one way of assessing.
These are the things we need.
It's not too early to start
thinking about your successes and to think about what you could submit for presentation at our November conference.
In
addition, TESOL will be in Boston next year, so you could use the November conference as a stepping-stone to national notoriety!
Think
about it.
In the next week or so, I'd like to start sharing what I got out of TESOL. Because I was volunteering,
the events I went to were a little, um, eclectic.
But still.
We get better through the conversation.
