Dear Members, We are writing to remind you of two Vermont events AND announce an online event organized by the Maine NNETESOL representatives all coming up in May! We hope to have you join in community with us at any or all of these events! May 1st & 2nd: Burlington, VT School District Department of Multilingual Learners and VT EL Leaders Collaborative are hosting "Come to the Table," a community gathering for multilingual families, educators, and friends at St. Michael's College. REGISTRATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED until all spots are claimed! Register here! May 14th: NNETESOL's Maine state event is a ZOOM talk entitled "Supporting ML Learners' Academic English in the Post-Secondary Setting" with Kristin McLaren, Director of Student Success at the University of Maine at Augusta. Register here! May 16th: NNETESOL's Vermont state event, which will include panel discussions, community with ELT professionals, and free book giveaways, will be held at Burr and Burton Academy.
