Purpose and Mission:  NNETESOL is a not-for-profit association for those interested in and concerned with the education of English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), and bilingual individuals with English as one language.  The purpose of NNETESOL is to support ESL professionals in our region through professional development activities, to promote communication, and to provide mutual support among individuals with similar interests and concerns.  NNETESOL also provides opportunities for professional growth, disseminates information on current research related to the field, and communicates and cooperates, as appropriate, with groups that share similar concerns and interests. NNETESOL organizes annual conferences and maintains a website to support the professional development of its members. These conferences also provide ESL professionals with opportunities to network with colleagues and connect with publishers.
